In the press today it was suggested that it is the lower social uneducated classes who have tattoos and who are overweight and obese.

Perhaps we can carry out our own survey.

If you are a graduate can you confirm if you

(a) Have a tattoo

(b) Have a BMI 25

Graduate with post grad qualis and 20 years professional qualifications.

I also have 9 tattoos - soon to be 12, a couple of piercings, a BMI finally of 26 after years of effort to get there.

I'm also a member of Mensa and fetlife and love BDSM as well as having sex twice a day.

My suggestion OP. Stop reading the Daily Mail

Im a tattoo artist,with tattoos and believe me people from all walks of life have tattoos!

I have a regular maths teacher with an ongoing sleeve that l am doing.vets, taxi drivers, council officials police. Etc probably some thick fucker who came up with that statement! !

This is true. It obviously makes you knowledgeable in a given subject though and demonstrates your ability to learn.

I really dislike being labelled - even if the labels were (intended to be) positive.

Labelling puts us into said class(es) and I think people are so much more than a set of values, whether that is education, looks, BMI, their dislike of classical music or art... or whatever.

Forget BMI as an accurate measuring tool. According to my BMI rating I'm obese (or I'm too short)

It's measurements such as chest, weight, thighs, etc and body composition I.e. The level of fat on your body that counts

Now back to the debate
