We have a petition for the Government to fund a drug that can help everyone with PKU (Phenylketoneuria) so that they can have a normal life. We need 100, 000 signatures if you would like to sign and help the cause PM me for the link.

Yeah, but it's VERY restricted, you can't even have more than one small banana a day, if you have too much protein it results in irreversible brain damage, it's a lot of stress and worry about messing it up, parties, going out for meals and other things like that are almost impossible because everything to eat won't be suitable for PKU. Not even being able to get a kebab when absolutely out your face.

people with other problems have to regulate their diet, so why not the people with whatever this thing is.

Because people with other things have drugs to help, and if they don't it isn't as serious as brain damage, ceoliacs get an upset stomach and are fine, same with lactose intolerence, Kuvan can change the lives of those with PKU.
