Yes.. he is a lovely guy.. met him many times when I was younger as he was s friend of my mums.. didn't realise he was famous till many years later xx

What a life the guy has lived, take away the acting and it's still an amazing life,

climbed Everest, the oldest man to reach the north pole, boxed with the dali lama,

And my favourite story is when he was a 12 Picasso visited his school, blessed challenged him to draw something so Picasso drew a dove, blessed said that's not a dove and then drew Picasso a dove and said you can keep that, I don't want yours it's rubbish, lol

The guy is English eccentricity at its very best! Agree with all posts and also jealous of those that have met him.

I also love his apparent almost total lack of tact and subtlety when talking about other actors and showbusiness in general...he just tells it like it is!

Hilarious on Have I Got News For You....

Def needs to be a campaign set up to get him knighted.

If Brian did Strictly instead of Brucie, then I'd watch it!!
