Why do Rant

Some people who you meet and play with expect you will always want to meet and play with them. I'm getting seriously pissed off about this. Grrrrr

Surely if you haven't made arrangements, have initiated contact and haven't took the opportunity in group / club scenarios to play , isn't that enough of a clue or do we really have to spell it out really enough is enough some people are way to clingy on the scene.

For all the talk on here about people being unkind and ignoring, some people back you into a corner where you have no choice but to say **** ***

We used to have a similar problem ... local club had people we had played with expecting repeat fun ,and we didn't wanna end up playing with them every week . So we made it clear to everyone that the thrill of the first meet was the best , and repeat meets rarely lived up to that first one .

Pretty soon the message was clear and the pestering stopped .... so much better now !

like that idea.

Surely people can see that being whiny and moany and practically begging for a meet does not make them look attractive

We like repeat meets with some people too, but not everyone. It's awkward when people assume because you have played in the past that we will always be up for it.

I think it is due to a lack of communication about you intentions

Why don't you just tell them you're not interested anymore. Some people need to be told, being straight forward is the only way. They will move on because maybe only you know it's not happening again but they don't know that because the word "no" hasn't been said.

Meets are arranged by words, shouldn't rejections and no longer interested require the same respect?

But would that mean only you asking if they wanted to meet again and not visa versa? Then they might think what your saying? Better Communication is key

Yes I guess it's time to spell it out to them. Don't expect this to go well and that's going to be awkward next time we see them at a club. But hey if people can't take a hint....

Surely if someone has great fun with you ( ie an orgasm ) it is a compliment that they want more. The time to worry is when they don't!

They might surprise you and respect your answer because you're being truthful with them. You're not messing them about by dodging the answer.

It'll work out, people just want respect.

Not when we receive snide texts after they have noticed us meeting other people and not asking them.
