What am I to do ?

I'm currently on a secondment which finishes at Christmas, and dread going back to my old post

I've been applying for posts over the last six months with no success or first alternative (always the bridesmaid)!

Now I have an informal interview this Thursday, a call back tomorrow for another job offer, and a third post has come up which was rejected earlier this year on cost grounds

This is pure madness and it's not making it any easier for me.

A dilemma and too many choices

The problem is they're three great jobs

I'd be happy in any one of them.

Guess I'm going to have to be mercenary about it

Would there be any benefit in telling your gaffers you have had approaches and asking if they are willing to do anything? a 4th offer might help

Surely if you'd be happy with any if them, there isn't a problem....you might not get offered them all?

"Surely if you'd be happy with any if them, there isn't a problem....you might not get offered them all? "

One's a definite offer, a second is an informal chat to discuss how my skills fit the job criteria (only applicant), and the last is a post which I "passed" earlier this year, before funding changed.

I'm not trying to count my chickens before they've hatched though

I'm a civil servant, so there's no room for negotiation lol

Not had any sort of pay rise over the last four years

So this is like a breath of fresh air
