My marriage ended amicably but it got very nasty when it ended with my fb. He was also my best friend and I miss him like crazy

no it doesnt.

me and my ex split amicably.

i found out what had happened

we agreed to give it 6 months to try again

she wasnt interested

in the remaining 4 months i did all my grieving and crying, so that when we finally decided to separate, there were no ill feelings or tears, she just packed her shit and walked out the door, and i got on with life, to deal with my feelings of failure and rejection.

we still talk now

i can be in her company without wanting to kill her lol

my feelings towards her are totally ambivilant.

she, however, has found out things about the period of our relationship that she didnt know before, simply because when we were together she was either to into herself, or just didnt care about what i was going through at the time, but hey ho

most of my relationships have ended amicably except my most recent FB one.. from here...

sadly he decided to hack my accounts.. delete stuff and e-mail important people in my life (with a fake account) to tell them all about what "I've been up to for the past 3 yrs"

ah well..

BIG lesson learned by me i tell yah!

I have found that its like a pressure cooker the anger builds up you hate every moment you have to be in their company till one day you have a blazing row and say "this is over" it's like the valve opens and all the anger and hate is gone and your left with the need to move on, and the hope that they find someone to make them happy

When i split recently it was hell on earth, It actually brought a new meaning to the word "Nasty". Still its all over now and we have moved on.

My second marriage was an awful split and five years later we still have our moments.

Like some one has said it depends on the people involved and what their relationship was actually like !!

It has varied for me. Disbelief and disgust and then waking up and realising the life we had planned was suddenly no more. Everything I had thought was a priority for him became the opposite. Missing a person so much but realising there is nothing that can be done to change it. Mixed feelings too. The kind that make me want to curl away and hide again to avoid the hurt.

I do think its different if you have made the choice to end things or not. If you have a say in it ending I think it must be easier because you were consulted and not just told.

I have had to talk to my ex a number of times and he carries on disappointing me more by the way he is about our kids. I would rather not talk to him at all.
