The reason behind couples wanting separate fuck buddies!?

Being a single female I can't quite get my head around it

I understand 3somes and moresomes... But not wanting a fuckbuddy that is hotter than yr own girlfriend.

I've seen couples that have separate FB's - but if they're messaging you saying that then that's just disrespectful, plain and simple!

I'll always respect the preferences of both couples and singles - but in general I've been more shocked by some of the attitudes of couples towards both other couples and singles.

But to quote another forumite - an arse is an arse regardless of gender or single/couple status!

the thing is, i have always said, if you are going to cheat, then what you are after must be better, in some way, than what you have at home, whether that be looks, attitude, sexuality, whatever, there is no point going off with someone if you have a great missus at home.

so, for someone to say you are hotter than his missus, yes its disrespectful, but then, so is cheating anyway.

I wouldn't class it as cheating as both partners are doing the same thing.

BUT I still don't get why they want separate fuckbuddies... Are things lacking in there own relationship?

I understand same room swapping, 3somes etc... Adds bit if spice.... But will never understand the separate goings on.

Of course something is lacking in their relationship, if all was well they wouldn't be on a swinging site looking for sex, random sex just helps them keep their relationship going.

Ours is not to reason why!!

A couple I know do this as he works away a lot - means they both have fun apart with people they've got to know well and trust. They still meet as a couple when together but why should they not enjoy regular fun when apart, with people they feel safe with rather than a string of one offs?

Different strokes for different folks I guess, as with all things!! But that's what keeps the world such an interesting place!!

I have... They say they are happy with it and I don't not agree with it I just understand it.

there HAS to be a separation?

we have sex with each other because we love each other.

we dont have sex with others for the very same reason.

not everything is black and white
