Have your pixies gone on strike,?

My old one was hotpoint. There was a round thing. You had to take a little screw out then twist and pull

Check the filter if uv now found it, mums was once blocked with a 50 pence and a knex stick, if it cant drain, then it wont spin, if its not that, then its likely the belt has slipped/snapped, if u yav to hav a new 1, beko are better.x

It drains ok so I'm fairly certain it's not the filter. I've found it now buy its such a faff getting it off.

Funny how highpoint say they will charge of they come out and find things in the filter causing a problem yet make the filter so inaccessible to clean it. Money making scan or what!!!

Had a Hotpoint for years, replaced motor brushes, door seals then it finally pulled the inlet pipe off the drum and flooded the kitchen never had another, built to a price and not a very high one either

bought a Bosch one and control board went, nearly as much as the new replacement

forget the computerised machines, to much to go wrong, buy the simplest machine you can, don't use too much washing detergent and do a hot wash now and again to keep the internals clean and you shouldn't have much trouble fingers crossed lol

Of course it is, a little white hinged lid, you lift, and then unscrew the filter, wash it out, put back, screw and it may solve the problem

Sounds as though the problem was originally misdiagnosed - lets face it - you've a proper cunt of a machine in your hands!!

it really really isnt.....you have to go in through the back, undo a jubilee clip, tack off a pipe, remove a ball, then take out a white plastic 'basket that is the filter.....the front of the machine is smooth, no hingy flaps other than the actual door.
