...with their mothers???

I just had a jolly drive around here - and gone past lots of pubs (all empty) lots of foody pubs (Mostly empty) and general food joints in the town (mostly empty).

So what DO people do for thier mums on mothers day these days????

They obviously dont take em out for lunch!!!!

Woke up this morning and had to remind my 11 year old what day it was - "was just waiting for a good moment to say it" was the come back.

Spent the rest of the day in Thorpe Park scaring us both silly. With the exceptions of a few hiccups we all had a good day doing pancakes for us now. Feel likes its been a Daughters day reather than a Mothers day

Have just gotten off the phone with my own mum and alls good

You're joking aren't you?!!

My eldest took me to lunch in Greenwich. Every where was packed to the rafters!

We ended up in Pizza Express as we'd still be waiting!

Had a lovely day, had kisses and cuddles from my other two and even a box of chocs from my ex husband!

"Woke up this morning and had to remind my 11 year old what day it was - "was just waiting for a good moment to say it" was the come back."

That must have been better than what happened to me.

I was woken by the youngest shoving the cat in my face and shouting "happy mothers day" then she turned to her older sister standing in the door wetting herself laughing and said "its is today isnt it?" to which I replied "yes it is sweetie but can you get off me I cant breathe" got scratched by the cat and kneed in the belly by said youngest kid

But then hubby sent me back to bed for me "mothers day" breakfast cooked by hubby and served by hubby whose mother I am not but with child whose mother I am helping to eat it

when it comes to my sis and niece no-one gets a look in, they are both a bit 'slow' so mum has always mothered them,

as I'm independent I don't need her as much she says.

Last year as mothers day fell on both my sis's and youngest's birthday I took 9 family members out for a meal... short memories eh?

Anybody want mine?

You're welcome to her, she's a selfish bitch.

Her eldest grandchild [our son] was involved in a major car accident saturday night, and she wouldn't even come to the hospital. Nor has she called to see if his back is broken or not. Luckily not, but he'll be in hospital for a while.

Her excuse Saturday evening was, got to go to bed as I'm going out in the morning.

And mothers and grandmothers are supposed to be so caring and loving.

THAT'S A JOKE

We cant choose our family hun - and for some bastard reason - they are the ones who hurt us the most.

Dont think they mean to - but you wouldnt treat friends like that so why are you allowed to treat family like that????

Its pants and makes me very sad.

HOpe you get over this hurdle and all be ok xx

Yes, all the best to your son from me as well. All he needs is the love of his parents, grandparents don't matter if they don't care. xxx

I left home at 16, to get as far away from mine as possible.

She was invited to my wedding but didn't show, has never taken anything to do with her grandchildren either mine or my youngest brothers.

Infact when I got into Satanism at a very early age I'm sure I saw her pic at a few meetings sitting beside Satan himself.

The woman is evil, she sped up my grandfathers demise and all but killed him herself.

My father is ill and has been for awhile and if the illness doesn't eventually do him in she will.

Nah this is one Mother the world doesn't fuckin need
