So in a moment of d*unken madness a while ago I agreed to do a charity abseil along with some friends....

I have just been reminded that this is taking place tomorrow morning...

I'm guessing that getting really d*unk tonight and staying d*unk would possibly be a bad idea...

Why do things like this seem like a good idea after several vodkas

Good luck.

I went absorbing on an activity weekend at school once. It was a vertical tower. No incline and it took me ages to get the courage up to do it. Loads of kids had several foes between me plucking up the courage but I did it and it felt amazing. I even got cocky and did some cat leaps on the way down lol

A few weeks later the deputy head who was there called me to her office and gave me a picture of me going over the edge. She said how proud she was of me overcoming my fears and sticking with it. I may have cried!!

Nervous is good ..gets the adrenaline pumping. Whether its a rock face or tall building have 100% faith in the instructors. If its a charity drop they are normally from a local climbing club and very experienced so you will be well looked after. Go for it, relax and enjoy. Let us know how it goes. X

I'm so glad I didn't read that before this morning..

Done... and on my way home.. I actually loved it.. Had the total fear until I went over the edge... then it was a doddle lol.

So pleased I didnt chicken out... Raised 3k for my charity, whichy bosses have said the company will double..
