Years ago I bought a recipe box full of old PROPER food recipes.

None of that half fat no added butter stuff

the kids and hubby loved when I decided to work my way thru it - even now they will ask for the "real good biccies you make mum"

It was one of them collect the parts each week type things (already completed when I bought it tho lol) I even added a few low fat recipes I love to it

Its still the only cook book (well as close to a book in my kitchen) I own

Just come on line and noticed this thread! My son loves me all year round and that's enough for me! I made a lovely roast lamb lunch for us today because i like to do that and love to cook for my familly. love being a mum and love to all the other mums out there! Z xx

Thats a daughter of that age group thing

my youngest refused to help her dad cook my bacon and eggs but wanted to help eat them and almost got speared by the fork in her haste to swipe a slice of bacon
