West Fife

Try sudofed or a proprietry medicine containing pseudoephedrine.

Otherwise the old head under a towel, over a bowl of steaming hot water.

Dear Fabio,

I do not know if a saline sniff is available in the uk now but I do know that it used to be availabe in Europe a few years ago.

I make my own. It's amazing. Here's how it works.

Small amount of body temp water ( hot would take your nose off )

Couple of pinches of salt..... ( sort of less salty than you can take )

Using a spoon. Hold some saline solution VERY close to one nostril.

Hole the OTHER nostril closed and snort up.

Let it run down your throat without swallowing , coughing , spitting, whining , moaning or making any other manchild actions or noises.

Repeat with the other nostril.

Gargle and spit a few times.

Bacteria HATE salt....

Salt dries up mucus and make the environment hostile to bacteria.

Used really early it's great at cold prevention ....

Oh ..Try to keep it up your nose as long as poss.... after a minute or three you'll be amazed at what gets cleared out .....

Nice warm water now....

Let me know how you get on.

avoid eating too much dairy... It makes mucus.

Is your room dry? That won't help.

Sudafed... Or doc.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

There are all sorts of things that are rumoured to boost the immune system. I can't comment specifically because I don't take any but maybe take a look into that?

Bee propolis is one I've heard of. As is echinacea.

^^^ Would definitely recommend this ^^^

You can get a Nasal Douche from any pharmacy. It's not pleasant in the beginning but if you persevere, it could work wonders.

I used to suffer from sinutitis after every cold. It was agony! Felt like my head was exploding! In the end my gp sent me for surgery to have my sinuses widened. Was the best thing I ever had! I can breathe and haven't had sinutitis for years. Would definitely recommend it if you are offered it.

sort the sinueses out then build your immune system ,, mix 2 tablespoons of honey witha teaspoon of cinnamon powder into a paste and spread on toast ,, this will also help with loads of other ailments including your colds ,,

Earcandling.... has helped a few people I know. COmpletely natural, used by Hopi Indians for centuries with results that some GP s are looking into. Works for a number of ENT problems.
