Any help would be appreciated. Looking at buying my mum a cheap simple tablet for christmas. Bearing in mind she is 72 and will only use it for playing games on. Do I get her the 4GB 512MB ram

or do I get her 16GB 1GB ram. I really don't know about this kind of stuff.

It all depends on your budget -

Less than £50; £50 - 100; £100+

You'll not get much for the first; a nonbrand generic Tablet forthe second; and something reliable for the third

If unsure go for a minimum 1gb ram for the processor and 8gb ram memory, but ensure you can go large with an sd card slot

If you're a tesco clubcard holder double up your points and go for the huddle ... effectively half price. Plus they've got a £20 off purchases over £100 instore

More pricey but best are the Google nexus, Kindle fire hd range, Samsung galaxy tabs and of course apple ipads

Clacton on sea, Essex

Samsung Tab 2, 7 inch version, dual core £109 from Maplins at the moment because the Tab 3 as just been released which is £219.

Great little tab, fast, HD screen & if you put in a mini SD 32gb card from My Memory for £12.95 you have 40GB.

You can also buy a blue tooth keyboard for the Tab at around £12.

Check out smartfonestore. They sell second hand ipads and other tablets. Currently have first gen ipads for £129. Ive bought a couple for people and even the grade c ones are pretty decent.
