You are not on your own in the compliment department, a lot of people have the same trouble.

Me being one. I am always hard on myself and can never take a compliment. However I am the opposite towards other people

I'm dreadful - I don't trust my own judgements a lot of the time either. Always blame myself when something's gone wrong.... and then I ring my confidante and she tells me to stop beating myself up!

I think I'm just about growing into myself now I'm quite happy with the person that I am, I don't find it hard to take compliments but I never quite know what to say when I receive one.

And on a serious note, I think I'm pretty good to myself in every way. I mean, I've been single for 3 years and if I'm not good to number one who else will be;) A little selfishness goes a long way I find...

I think a lot of people can judge theirselves harshly. We all should love ourselves a bit more. I struggle with compliments but a wise person once told me just say thank you & leave it at that
