Men and Mobile Phones

Just something I've observed and wondered about ....

Why do some men, when using a mobile phone in the street, feel the need to pace back and forward whilst having a conversation. Why can't they just stand in one place ?

So far as I recall, I've never seen a woman do it, only men ..

Strange

And talking about mobile phones, It's the only time you'll hear a group of blokes chatting and bragging about who's got the smallest one

We do it to dispel the myth that men can't do two things at once. Walking & talking seems a pretty good way of demonstrating that.

OMG..I'm a chick..I pace...just realised I pace all the time...on my mobby...and pull faces..and wave my arms about...and mine is tiny...hell I will be downing pints and scratching my hairy balls next..!!!

Depending on the conversation i too have to pace, the more engaging the conversation the more I feel the need to move.

i walk lots when i am on the phone which is odd cos i avoid walking when i am not - maybe i should permanently be on the phone, would be a size 0 in no time

it can damage nails...so one has to take extra care

Eh, one does not use the tips of the nails to type/dial if one has nice long nails!

I have always paced when on the phone, whether it was a fixed line, cordless or mobile. Used to drive my wife mad.

I used to play games on me mobile when on my break at work and only stopped when I noticed my left thumb nail was a very strange shape but no matter how hard I try I cannot text without using my left thumb nail

I have also lost count of the times I have broken my nail texting my daughter
