Monty Python are reforming.

All of the surviving members of comedy group Monty Python are to reform for a stage show, one of the Pythons, Terry Jones, has confirmed.

John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and Jones are all due to appear at the event,

John love them and will be very happy about this but I could never understand it all . lol Could you and was you a fan ..?

Maybe I am thick why I could never understand there humor , lol film i see again 2 years ago life of Brian still could not get into it .

I know you're far from thick.

Monty Python for me are probably the greatest influence on popular comedy I know off.

I rate the Life of Brian as one of my favourite films.

I just hope that their return doesn't fall flat as the original stuff has been adapted a d developed by so many others.

But who doesn't love Michael Palin, Ripping Yarns which he did with fellow Python Terry Jones is just superb.

some would say its a toss up between them, and the goons, but either way, they are the Beatles of the comedy world.

funnily enough, while finding christmas music for my old dears phone, i found a song called ho ho fucking ho, by the pythons.

when i lived in harrogate life of brian was banned from cinemas there must have allowed it tho at some later date as i have seen it x

While I hold Python in high regard I can quite happily say that out of each 30 minute show about 20 minutes was garbage, 5 minutes were mildly amusing and the other 5 minutes utterly hilarious. My comedy hero is Spike Milligan and even he had moments of total unfunnyness.

They certainly weren't funny ALL the time, but definitely opened up the whole comedy circuit. It was just sheer anarchy.

Where would we be without them?

As for the films - Life of Brian without a doubt a true classic. So many brilliant observations.
