This puts me off straight away! I mean I would like to know a bit about the woman from chatting before sending a face pix! And lets be honest it's always women! Often they give no information only that! I'm usually suspicious of it being a fake looking fire someone they know when I see that! Anyone give me a better reason

If get face pic swap thing dealt with pretty quickly if i like the sound of someone,im not scared to send a face pic and it saves a world of hassle in the long run

Nothing worse than emailing for ages and then discovering no physical attraction at all

If I send first message I attach a pic. If a guy sends me first message and doesn't want to send one first that's his choice but I won't be chatting. I have no intention of having one on display for public because I don't want to get recognised by certain people if they come accross the site.

If anyone chooses not to message me because of that I'm not that bothered x

Thing is of course, you are just one of so very many and your profile matches your attitude - one of "I can't be bothered making an effort". I'd guess you find a lot of "read / deleted" or just "deleted" style messages.

,I m trying to attract ladies not put them off,

I send a face picture pretty quick you re going to have to sooner or later (unless you do blind date,,) if I contact people first I send mine first, I hope others do similar,,

We like to see who we are chatting to from the start as there's no chance of a meet if moon (f) doesn't find you attractive , and likewise we send a face pic on request too.

I have face pics and will gladly share them with people I like or am looking to meet, if someone wants me to send pics simply because they feel entitled to them without even speaking to me first however, then no chance.

Personal choice and preference.

If you don't like a request on a profile - don't message. Simple.

Can't recall ever sending a face pic with a first message and its never affected my enjoyment of the site.

Dunno about suspicious but I definately wouldn't bother messaging a profile that had no pics or text apart from that anyway.

I did this a few times when I first joined. It's not nice!! I know everyone can't be to everyone's taste but I'd rather avoid having to say it! lol x

Due to both our jobs, there are never going to be face pics on the profile! But our profile does state quite clearly face pics are available on request, any time, just ask. We just have a problem with them being in public is all. But anybody who spends more than two seconds copy/pasting the same message to a million members would read our profile and see that.

I don't expect people to start a conversation and show me a face right away. However, I DO expect at some point to see what this other person looks like.

We get a LOT of messages from girls who dont have any verifications, no face pics, just the odd perfectly shot boob picture... And thats it. Then they get shirty when 20 messages in we ask what they look like. Its perfectly legit question to ask, IMO. I'm past the nice chatting stage, and thin kyou're not too bad, so lets see what you look like. If you're not prepared to even show your BODY, never mind your face, then why should I expect you to even really meet me, let alone do the deed...

It varies really depending on the person. If I met somebody in the same job role as me, then I can instantly see why they would worry about face pics, and I wouldn't push until we were both sure. But no body pics at all...? That sets off my alarms... C x

most people insist on face pics being available, and its only natural to want to see who you will be meeting.

we even insist on them when we are having a social, just simply because we dont want that awkward situation where we approach the wrong people.

we dont not met people because of their faces, we arent that shallow, we just want to see who we are meant to be talking to

It's not always women. I've had men message and ask for a face pic without sending one themselves. I always refuse. If the contact me first then they need to send a pic and not just ask for one. I live in a very tight knit and nosey community where everyone knows everyone for miles around. I previously had a stalker on here who would set up new profiles every time I sussed him out and blocked him. My face pic is there for my friend to see but they've been vetted carefully
