Does it impress you

When people try to sell themselves on their jobs on here.

To date I can think of a few teachers, couple of "professional" footballers oh and a businessman who travels extensively.

I'm never quite sure how they reckon this could correlate to their performance in the sack !

Anyone else had this

To talk about your job or profession is the most boring thing in the world.

If someone asks what I do for a living it's the last question they ask me.

Nope, im not much interested in their job and it probably puts me off if i am truthfull as it sounds like boasting !

You could empty bins for all I care. A person's profession has little relevance on a site such as this, its all down to personality and aesthetics.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I find it makes me NOT want to meet them. If someone's chief selling point is that they are a soldier, teacher, footballer then it doesn't seem to say much.

I did used to find people were curious when I had my job as a sexual therapist. Lol but not sure it was really a selling point.

I ignore messages where the first line says.. hi im a *insert occupation that they think should impress here*

Up on them there hills

I think this site, and what it encompasses, is a form of escapism from my conforming working world. So I don't find it attractive at all.

Genuinely couldn't care less, as long as they're able to hold a conversation, attractive to me, find me attractive and willing to hop on the bad foot and do the good thing, then I'm game!

Strange, I haven't had anyone really bragging, and I like to know what people do anyway, helps give me an idea of 'what kind of animal' they might be. But then I'm looking for more of a FWB than a one-off.

Maybe this is the problem. Most of us probably have such boring jobs that to use it as a boast would be met with a resounding "and?"

Mines an interesting job but it can get annoying when people start asking for advice. They seem to feel I can help them based on the tiniest bits of information on a sex site...

might do if it says professional, thats all not interested in the details.

its more fun not too know adds a bit of mystery. Same as not impresed or interested in people who like to mention where they go on holiday on their updates.

Teachers not impress me, doctors maybe, but then i have met quite a few stupid doctors.

businessman who travel, that sounds like fun, i like to imagine what peoples houses are like because i am interested in houses more than anything else. I dont want to know about people i meet though. I did once meet a lovely young man who was an ambulance driver, that did impress me and so did he.

We are both teachers, but it doesn't mention it anywhere on our profile. Why? Because why does it need to? What does it have to do with how good a fuck we are? The only time in chatting it gets bought up are when we have to talk about why our faces are not in public on the site.

We do get a few messages from guys saying "Oh, sleep with me, I'll make it worth your while, I own business X and that means I have a large penis, wont you hop on?". Its like... No. No I won't. C x

Ahh yes, the soldier one... We get that a lot. Granted a few of them have uniforms on in their pics. But two things...

A) Thats REALLY disrespectful to your country and/or unit/regiment and I hate to see people do that.

B) You are somehow implying that people should sleep with you JUST because you are in the army or something?

Oddly enough, as much gratitude and respect I have for anybody fighting for this country, I'm actually FAR less inclined to go with somebody sexually like that, because pretty much every person I know in "real life" thats done that is a big headed, egotistical maniac. I would much rather they kept it on the down low, myself... C x
