Well off my son goes to school with his bag of ingredients,(£11.50) ,his lesson only lasts 30 minutes,,What excuse can I give not too try it

Actually changing the thread a little, £11.50 for sons ingredients today and the daughter is cooking Lasagne at school on Friday , which will probably cost another £10,,bloody schools , be cheaper going out

That is a lot isn't it. How often do they cook tho? We cooked about 3 times in a year and only ever scones etc. sounds like they're teaching em to make something decent now at least. Mind you I'm not sure how a lasagna costs £10 to make from scratch! That's a bit steep isn't it!? Z

Chicken can be reheated safely once after original cooking.

So put it in a pan and make sure it gets really up to temperature before serving, check the pieces are cooked through and have a lot of rice and naan and chappattis on hand to fill up on!

We need to encourage the younger generations to learn to cook from scratch. It's healthier and cheaper and adds to future pulling power!

There seems to be a whole generation of kids that have grown up unable to chop a few veg to make a cheap and tasty soup.
