Have a problem with signing into MSN. Keep getting an error message...

"Your contact list is not available right now, try again later. Error code 80191002"

Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

Cheers

Try this ....

I found it on a Windows Live Foerum for you.

At least it shows you how to contact them and get live help.

please contact the Windows Live Messenger Team for assistance on this. Here’s how to reach them:

1. Launch your browser

2. Go to http://support.live.com/

3. Click on "Windows Live Messenger"

4. Choose your version of Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger

5. Then choose one topic from the list on the left part of the page

6. Click on the “Get more help” option on the lower right part of the page

7. Then click on the “Get support” option

8. Complete the form

9. Click "Submit."

.

You are encountering this issue because your Live ID's password is set to expire after a certain period of time. To resolve this, all you need to do is reset your password. Here are the steps:

1. Follow these steps to reset your password:

a. Visit http://account.live.com.

b. Click Sign in with a different account.

c. Enter the ID, and then click Forgot your password.

d. Follow the wizard to reset your password.

e. If you need help resetting your password because you forgot your secret question and answer or your "alternate" e-mail address, visit http://support.live.com to contact Windows Live ID support, and then select Windows Live ID.

The easiest way to reset the password is if you have set the secret questions ie mothers name etc.

Will gain you access then make sure that the expires after 72 days i think is not clicked.

Had this before myself.

I had something similar a couplke years ago with my original msn addy. I could read and send emails but couldnt sign into the messenger part, no matter what I did (or shouting at hubby to "fix the damn thing") nothing worked.

So I just opened another account and almost 4 years on never had the problem . . . . . yet
