So my parents having given me come cash to get something for my b'day/xmas pressie. I know what I am getting, but my dilemma is.... When should I get it?

I want it now, but I also want it closer to 23rd/25th Dec so it feels like I got a present....

What would you lot do?

Buy it now. Wrap it up. Open it on your B/day. Wrap it back up and open it again on Xmas day.

Wrap up the money( 2 envelopes ) open one on Xmas day and go .... OMG money ..oh fucking fab .... and put it in a piggy bank .....and say ..... Oh my - i'll wait to see if anyone gives me money for my b'day! Open the Happy B'day envelope and Go ... oh fuck surrrrrpriiiiiiiizzzzzzzze..... god bless mum n dad and put it in the piggy with the Xmas money ..... phone them up a huge thank you and say you are going to spend it in the sales.... but WHAT a perfect surprise! xx
