My van had to go into the bodyshop to have a dent knocked out, so being a lovely day, I decided to pop the 2 dogs into the back of the van and walk back home wih them - it's about 4 miles, so a nice walk, should have taken about an hour.

Got to the top of the street, and you know when you get that sinking feeling ?

Well I got that feeling because I'd just realised that the house keys were still on the van keyring, which was now 4 miles away

So I got over that hurdle because I knew that the bedroom window was open so I'd get the dogs into the yard, lock them in and go around to the front, pop my ladder up to the window and get into the house, get the wife's spare key, open the back door and let the dogs in. Sorted !

So off I go to the front garden, got to the top of the path .... now remember that sinking feeling I mentioned earlier ? yeah ? well here it comes again !

No fecking ladders !! Why because they are still on top of the van, which is ... you've guessed it 4 miles away and an hours walk there and another hours walk back

Fotunately a kind hearted neighbour gave me a lift back to get my keys ....
