It's annoying when someone kicks off though and then throws in the " but I've got this happening and that happening at home" excuse.

We hello I'm not your punchbag

Sometimes people find it hard to switch off when things are happening at home but it's not fair to take it out on someone...often I offer a shoulder

Central

It would be normal social etiquette to keep private issues from intruding as much as possible onto others' lives, especially in a work environment.

Some behaviour would also be against employment rules of employers.

That said, we're human and not machines.

And nobody should in any way behave disrespectfully to others, ever.

That's a tricky one. I have had to contend with private issues with my team. Though i dont always enjoy it sometimes taking the time to understand their issues actually helps me in getting the best from them and supporting them through their dilemas

Even worse people who bring their work issues, into their home environment.

Solve the problem yourself or find another job, that really is a bore.
