cough /sore throat sweets

when you have a cough or a start to feel a sore throat coming on, what cough sweet do you buy ,if any,,

or do you prefer to suck on a fishermans friend

I used the tried and tested man method... I get into bed, pull the duvet right over and bitch and moan that I'm dying until it goes away!!!

Generally find it gets fed up after a few days and finds somebody else to infect!!

Whiskey honey lemon juice and hot water,,

as a man the vital component of any healing process to begin, and by far and away the most important part is lots and lots and lots of sympathy,,

I go with honey, squeeze of lemon and a touch of blackcurrant squash.

That, and overdosing on cough medicine.

Plenty of hot drinks. But if I want an excuse for sweets I'd buy a pack of so others

If it was really bad tyrozets cos they have antiseptic qualities
