Why is it called a funny bone? as I don't find it funny when I whack it on the corner of a shelf.

The upper arm bone is called the humerus, so I guess its a play on words.

Because its medical term is the humorous. What's short for that "humour". Sounds like a logical reason. Probably wrong though, lol.
