"I've started running after years off been about 1 month now .Am Eating right but around the three mile point I seem to run out of energy , any help or is there any one that can point me in the right direction ." Run out of energy after three miles ? Surely human beings are designed for short fast bursts only. Three miles is sommat to be proud of. Marathon runners are weird......not better than anyone else.

Yes I get this question all the time and it's simple you just need to focus and push past the 3 mile mark but take it slow try fartlek training you can YouTube it that will help and just keep going good look fella

"I am a personal trainer and I allways advise my clients to build up slow, but in order to raise endurance you need to do some of what I call "post to post" basicly walk/jog between 1-2 lamp posts and then sprint the next and so on.... Do that twice a week and go for distance twice a week and watch the miles rise and the time fall. Ps don't have coffee before a run as it will cause you to crash after a short time ![]() ![]() I used to use this method but sprint/jog with 10 push ups, sit ups, star jumps, and burpi circuit at each lamp post. Was such a good whole body workout, but too high impact for me these days... ![]()

" Ps don't have coffee before a run as it will cause you to crash after a short time ![]() ![]() Tea won't be too bad its just the high levels of caffeine in coffee that will cause people to crash after all caffeine is a poison (natures natural bug killer) that's why the pros carb load before a long run and to drink coffee redbull etc etc

"I've started running after years off been about 1 month now .Am Eating right but around the three mile point I seem to run out of energy , any help or is there any one that can point me in the right direction ." if you have only just started running I think most people would be fooked after 3 miles, no one runs a half marathon straight away, the longer you keep it up the loner you will go before getting tired im by no means a expert on this subject that just seems common sense to me ![]()
