Hi All,

have got a jelly toy (see my pics!) and am wondering if it is okay to use alcohol based sanitising wipes on it?

thanks in advance!

Test a little bit, see if it reacts. I should think it would be fine, as the toy is probably a silicone type gel, and alcohol won't affect it.

Can't beat soap and water....

I always use condoms on mine. And check on the site where I bought it.

baby wipes are good but you get bits of fibre stuck to them, i use spontex hygenic cloths, the purple stripe ones because you dont get bits of fibre coming off them. i spray them with dettol, the clear one you use for kitchen surfaces and simple soap, then rinse twice.

We have the same toy, tend to put them all in the bath with some cleaning detergent, and washing up liquid, wash them twice and dry inbetween.

Some silcone based toys can react to different types of cleaning materials.

You will find though that the jelly toys often suffer from discolouration whatever you use. So don't worry if that happens.
