Somewhere in North Norfolk

I've got bright blue hair dye on the back of my neck and one of my ears It's also on one of my fingers at the moment because it stained it when I scratched my head a few minutes ago!!! This is serious dye!

Baby wipes haven't worked to remove it. Alcohol wipes haven't worked either.

I'm considering trying a scouring pad.

Any other suggestions?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Cover the rest of yourself in blue dye and go to an Avatar convention?

I normally scrub with some exfoliating facial scrub...but it doesn't normally come off easily!

Do you possess a blowtorch - or a Saint Bernard dog that could lick it off?

"put a bit of the hair dye and rub in the skin hairdresser told me that"

not sure that would work with semi-permanent - that stuff stains as soon as you look at it...I'm sure you'd end up more deeply coloured!!

It didn't get on my skin during the dying process, it's coming off all over me now lol It is pretty intense though.

Dilute hydrogen peroxide. Bleach at a push, but you have to keep rising it off so it doesn't strip the oils out of your skin to much.

Try using head and shoulders shampoo. Might work as it strips the colour out of hair

I've just had it redone. It fades into a beautiful pastel rainbow. At least it did last time... it also didn't transfer this badly last time though. This is a different brand of dye so it could fade differently.

I just tried to take a photo but the light isn't good enough and taking a photo of the back of your own head is tricky... lol

It's not been too bad. I've got three bright colours in my hair. They're semi-permanent though so they gradually fade out.

You just look a little grubby, not Smurfy at all. I think it will wear off your skin.

It did last time but it didn't stain this badly last time. Different brand of dye. The back of my neck is decidedly blue. Especially in natural light.

What does the purple fade too out of curiosity??

I use crazy colour dyes and they fade pretty much straight away with every wash. The red was a nightmare to keep

The pink faded to a paler pink, the purple went lilac and the blue became a light teal/turquoise. It was nice

I've had it like this nearly 6 months now and it's just been done for the third time so it lasted well.

I will probably do something different next time.

It didn't stain during the dying process. It's transferred since. It really is quite spectacularly blue.

When my hair is loose the blonde section on top sort of fans out and you get a rainbow showing through from underneath. I love it
