Sterilised ! Simple" Now where has the idea been trialled before, some time in the 1930's I think. Think it was a European country but name escapes me......no wait it was Germany

Sterilised ! Simple Sterilised??? For fucks sake Who are the police to play god? Kind of ideas from 1939 achtung!!! " I think your referring to something totally different If you only knew the damage that being in care does to a person you would rethink Fuck the mothers rights .. She's getting a chance 2 chances in fact . And in this low life's case 6 chances She's swanning around on benefits in a stolen car whilst her children suffer Not knowing why they can't be with mum Anybody can have a tough time Drugs and alcohol dependency Mental health problems , domestic violence .. So yes some children will unfortunately need to become likes after .. But why should we as a society allow women to create babies when they can't take care of them ? You get a pet dog or cat and get caught treating it cruelly ... You can get a lifetime ban from having animals Yet you treat children like they are nothing and what happens? Oh it's ok we as a society will look after them at an average cost of £200 ,000 per year So that women on tv is costing the taxpayer over a million pound a year and you think that's ok? More than the finance is the cost to that poor child Despite best efforts by la's looked after children are more likely to end up in custody, more likely to fail exams , more likely to become themselves single parents So for you who are slating the comment on sterilisation Instead of chatting nonsense about Germany and 1930 Come back to the modern day and real world and offer a appropriate solution !!!

"I would hardly say Germany and 1930 was nonsense. But saying that yes some people do need help. But you can't stop free will. Were do you stop? Who chooses who can and carnt have children? " Nonsense in relation to this argument . I think it's easy . If the rules/ laws are in place we all know them . If you have more than 2 children taken off you then you should be prevented from having more children . Whether that's through sterilisation or some other form of birth control What I'm saying is most of the young people I know in care have several brothers and sisters It's heartbreaking for them Can't understand why we are so sympathetic towards these people and allow children to be suffering Take a look at Michael gove's speech today about child protection He's spot on what he is saying !

"I agree with you no child should suffer and I also agree there some people who are a complete waste of skin that shouldnt be allowed to breath let alone breed.but unfortunatley it would count as marshal law what you want to do." Sorry but I don't agree. Have another look at the definition for martial law . What I do agree on is it does seem a tad extreme But so what ? What's the alternative? We can't keep burying our heads in the sand just because there's no other reasonable answer Anyone got one?

"If you like the idea of state funded sterilisation,I'm sure n Korea will accept you. Sterilising against will ,will never happen and rightly so. " So what's the answer? And why is the thought of sterilising someone who has had 6 kids all in care so wrong? Lots of criticism but no sign of any other solutions offered!

"Why...? Why what? Why should the law sterilise them...? " Because in the long run it costs every tax payer a lot of money. Add to that the trauma of the unwanted children, who all end up in care and because it takes so long for adoption to take place the children are usually quite troubled themselves. This then gives a knock on affect that when they grow up and have kids themselves they usually have very little parenting skills (because of their bad start in life) and so the circle continues!!! Easy saying it's the womans Human Rights, but what about the Human Rights of all these unwanted little children?

At some point the cycle of breeding for benefits or through total irresponsibility needs to be broken. I can accept one mistake but 6 !!!!. Care is not an ideal place to bring up children!!!! Wait till next year when this country is a wash with thousands of Roma and their children living wild breeding for benefits. No wonder this country us skint !!!!!

Nigel farage did make the same point on last Thursdays question time A point that seemed reasonable but he was shouted down by those with their heads in the clouds!

"What's the alternative? We can't keep burying our heads in the sand just because there's no other reasonable answer Anyone got one? " Don't know if it's a reasonable answer or not... but what about contraceptive implant under license, can be removed / not refreshed when / if that person changes life and could be a good parent. Sterilisation is a life sentence and does not allow for change. Those that are taken into care early are the winners in these situations, it's the ones who don't get found and are neglected or worse where I would feel the need to carry out some sort of enforcement.

I think there are more qualified people out there who can advise on solution. Forced sterilisation was undertaken by Nazi Germany, are you seriously advocating we go down that road? Where do we go next? Sterilisation of those with hereditary diseases? The mentally ill? Wrong on so many levels.

"I totally agree with the op, think its not right that people should be allowed to carry on producing kids for them to end up in care, where the child feels unloved and unwanted n like something Is wrong with them, if youve got 6 kids and they're all in care you know the chances are that if you have anymore they will end up in care too. "

"Maybe we could just allow the blond haired blue eyed kids to survive and let the others starve. We'd soon reduce demand for jobs (which don't exist), demand for houses (which don't exist) and access to NHS services (which are creaking under the strain)." You do oftentalk some nonsense I'm not advocating for a blanket sterilisation of women My argument is there is a massive problem and it needs addressing To often we sit back and shake our heads at stuff like this but nobody has the balls to offer a solution We as a society have multi agency working which would now make things like I suggest possible I.e a woman has a child ... Whatever reason the child becomes looked after . Judge the case on its merits and evidence She has another child that is again taken into care ... Again lets look at what is going on - multi agency working to assess the needs of the mum . She has another child then I'm sorry . We as a society have a responsibility . And that responsibility shouldn't be turning a blind eye and shrugging our shoulders saying ah well there's nowt we can do Bullshit there's a lot we can do . In order that the woman can get in with life she will need support to gain education training or employment or failing that she will be in receipt of benefits She should firstly be convinced that either long term contraception or sterilisation is needed . Educate her as to why . She can make an informed choice If along the way agencies support her to make the right decisions then this will be worth it financially for the tax payer and for te lives of children who would have ended up in the care system . If by her choice she declines to accept that what she is doing is wrong then we have a judicial system that can judge each case on the merits and act accordingly !
