I can tell by the titles of threads who's posted and don't bother opening as it's not for me but for the OP's friends to come in and stroke their egos!

To be slightly serious for one moment... (this may be a struggle)... it was the observation of just how frequently the term "attention seeker" is being banded about (as I glanced through the forums to see what's been going on) which prompted the thought. I was so use to seeing close to everyone and everything being labelled as timewasting, the sudden appearance of ‘attention seeking’ being mentioned in posts had me confused for a moment… Gok Wan never mentioned it on his website.

It sometimes appears once a term has been used once (correctly) and a couple of times (almost correctly) it becomes the latest overnight trend to fling it about left right and centre.

It will never be as slimming as black though.

when ANYBODY posts on a forum its attention seeking, if we posted and did not car, nor want anyone to take notice of a post, serious or joke one. then a forum would not work...

everyone is attention seeking, by posting here as they want a reaction to what they post, good reaction or bad, serious or silly, but it ends up wanting the same thing.

for anyone to think by posting on a forum you do not want attention are just stupid,.... a forum would not work if peoples posts did not attract attention and no one replyed.

maybe some people fling about the word attention seeker in a bad way, as they are unable to attract enough attention to something they post and find this frustrating.
