Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

When was the last time you said 'I love you' and meant it?

Not just romantic love but all love.

"Far too long ago. "

Is that because you don't love anyone or because you don't verbalise feelings?

Keep saying it. Just not in front of his mates.

I love it when my 6 yr old grandson runs up to me, kisses me quick and says I love you. I know he means it

Those are the best ones. No artifice or guile, just genuine love.

"Is that because you don't love anyone or because you don't verbalise feelings?"

Bit of both I guess.

I probably should tell my family more and last time I said it romantically was just after my ex and I split up.

South Coast

I said it to a male friend tonight. He means the world to me and it just seemed right... I love that I love him, and he loves me - yet there's nothing in it romantically

And it winds him up also that I like some of the music he likes too , top that with I love you son and I think he will not be very happy

But I will never stop saying those 3 words

If you can't say it to your friends who can you say it to?

Pick up the phone and tell someone you love that you love them. Maybe during the day. At this time they'd get worried.

They will only truly know when they eventually have their own kids

Yes me too, a dancing buddy. The dates/meets come and go, but he is always there and we love each other.

Don't feel sorry for him... It definitely suits us both for it to be this way

To my 18 year old son as I left after a visit to his Uni on Sunday.

To my 16 daughter as I left for work yesterday.

And to my wife in about ten minutes when I get into bed.

I meant all of them.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

To my cat this morning...totally meant it at 4am when I said "Diamond, I love you, but will you stop sticking your arse in my face"

Other than that, I think last time was to either my mate when a bit pished or my best mate's husband when he was going back to work in Yemen, both platonic. Romantically, not since early days of my marriage probably, ironically many times, with meets as soon as they walk in the door and I follow it by asking when we're holding the engagement party
