One for the couples/ single females. If you normally just wait for people to mail you, will you try this?

Search for males/ couples (whichever you normally meet) and mail them. Then come back and let us know how it went.

Did you find someone you liked? Have you arranged a meet? Did you get no reply,and if so how did it feel?

If you won't try this... why not? I realise some people will say they already get enough mail, but this is just an experiment. Are you afraid of rejection? Why not just try and see what happens?

I used to do just this, but the dynamics of my relationship are such , the OH does it all now.

As a single femme, I would message say 20 profiles I liked the look of, out of which I would get 18 replies, I would them le them down over a period of about two weeks and usually end up with 4-5 meets I wanted.

When I was meeting Id say about 75% of the people I met were people I contacted first.

You often see posts from women saying that they wouldn't contact someone in case they got rejected, but then you see all the posts complaining that they dont get offered exactly what they want. Always seems odd to me.

My _iew is that Id rather look for what I want rather than wait to see what Im offered

I dont like it in that I wouldnt want to see any group restricted like that (there's enough of it in clubs ) but it would certainly introduce a different dynamic if women and couples had to go hunting for single guys

My intention was partly to get people to see how it feels to be 'on the other side'. A lot of fems/ couples get so much mail they can just sit and sift through it. But I think that can sometimes make people get a bit big headed, and then be rude to people that mail them. Not always...

I have a lot of sympathy for the guys on here. They send mail and rarely get replies. I do the same.... and often get no response. I wouldn't be so dramatic as to say it's 'soul destroying'...! but it can get a bit depressing.
