No I never have.

Oh hang in that's a lie.... Since I turned 18 I've never lied about my age. Prior to that I used to daily to get served fags, booze, gain entry to pubs and nightclubs etc.

I have no need to lie now x

it isn't worth it, the people we've met who have lied about their age always slip up by mentioning something that gives it away.

Dont really see the point.

There is no hiding it and people are always saying age is just a number..I guess people either fancy you as you are or dont..

Same as I do, no relation to age more personality.

Perfectly said and the very same for me.

Although looking older, I wasn't asked about my age so didn't have to answer/lie, but I think my older friends helped. Also as 2 of them looked younger than me and were always asked for ID, I dont think I ever was

When I was younger I used too.. I added 4 years on... so people didn't realise I was 16 when I had my son... I wasn't ashamed.. it was just easier... to stop people looking down at me .. I looked older than I was.

Accidentally told somebody the wrong age. Spent a whole year thinking I actually was that age. Discovered on the following birthday I was a year younger than I'd thought. That was a good birthday.

I have done on a couple of occasions but right now I am at a good age so dont need to. I was reading though last year over 45% dont tell the truth on online sites and apparently its often advisable not to put real details on line or so they say.

Point Nemo, Cumbria

A few days ago, I spotted two identical status updates from separate profiles not too far from me, in Cumbria.

When I checked them out they had some identical pictures, though one profile was as a couple and the other as a single woman - no problem, you might say, but what struck me most were the woman's contradictory ages ... 46 on one profile and 56 on the other.

Ha ha ... busted!
