Another thread just made me think! (I know - shut up - it happens occasionally! )

We all get older every year.

Does anyone therefore adjust their age filters/preferences to take this into account? After all - if you're a year older - so are those you were looking to meet last year!

Deep for a Monday - i know - but if you don't adjust yours do you notice any difference?

No we don't adjust the age range every year....

Ours will probably be adjusted in a couple of years, that's if we are still around then.

age is a number, why limit yourself, if you like 30 yr olds, without a passport or driving license, how could you tell if someone is 27,28,29,30,31,32, or 33?

Lots of women look and act 10 yrs younger than their age.

True. And in a club our preferences are far more fluid, but online you need to make a judgement call.

Very true!

Are we really any different one year to the next? I - like most - have age preferences set. But id often struggle to guess an age face to face.

I guess it was more of an observation that people often fund themselves moving out of someone's preferred age filters and comment in the forums as such - but seem to forget that this may be happening to others due to their own choices.

The only difference is I tend to find more grey hairs and lines every year.

I adjust mine at the upward end - it only seems fair. I haven't adjusted at the lower end as 37 seems old enough for me to accept that I am not cradle snatching. Plus, in the right light, I can pass for younger than I am.

That's true, some men look and act younger than their age too.

We don't have a strict age range but you have to draw a line somewhere. So for us 25-45 is a guideline. When at parties we don't go round asking people how old they are and if we can see their ID.

I have fairy lights around my bed. That seems to work.

Yep I adjust mine at the higher end if I hadn't since joining and didn't continue to do so I'm only shortening the range of guys who can get in touch with me.

Cradle snatching? If a guy like me is attracted to shall I say a lady older than myself then I don't see it as an age thing I fancy who I fancy and I'm sure that if I ended up within your age bracket you got I'd not be spitting my dummy out hehe x

The amount I meet on here there's not really any need to change them. Right now I'm having a thing about 37 year old men! Seem to have the most fun with them!!

If someone comes along who's a little bit out of my age range but is spectacular then I'm not going to turn them down, that would just be silly!!

There's no where to move mine to I will stick to 18 - 99 I am probably too old for most 20 yo but if one contacts me and I fancy them then yeah it could happen

Mine seems to be tattoos at the moment! lol - not complaining!

don't change my limits x my rules - i'll break them if I want to !
