People who disappear! Explaining the mystery!

Hiya,

Just looking for a possible explanation!

For some reason, a lot of local people join here - maybe every day or two. Maybe I'll send/receive a message to/from them. Then one/two days after joining, possibly in mid conversation - you get "the user is no longer registered".

One time, I was chatting to a local woman for a day, she sent pics, she invited me over for a social. As I was on my way, mid convo, she changed to "not registered". Ofcourse, I noticed that and thought something fishy was going on so I went back home.

What could possibly prompt somebody to join up, stay a day or two then leave? Maybe mid convo?!?! There's got to be a logical reason.

It doesn't bother me too much as I do expect this behaviour from new ones. I've just had it again yesterday. How puzzling...

My theories are:

1) Woman needs sex now and just wants a quick phone number then leaves as she has what she wants. Can't be on it for a minute longer than necessary incase she gets caught?

2) Woman joins but feels guilty then tells herself to come off it. Comes off it asap incase caught?

3) Woman gets caught and comes off it.

4) Woman gets too much attention and doesn't like it? Gets totally fed up and just leaves.

Oh! Before I get bollocked, I know my theories are limited to women and I'm not claiming that only women do this. I'm targeting women as its women who I start chatting with.

Is anyone able to explain this situation!??!

think number 4 is valid, as the wolves circle and pounce, especially if she is young/fit or says on her profile she will take any comers.

i do, however, think the cold feet adage explains a lot too.

seems like a great idea when d*unk and horny, but when sober and not, not quite so for lots

Ahhh, cool. I didn't think of that. Maybe it's after a night out, etc.

Its easy to 'sound' convincing online.

Often takes the "nice tits" brigade days to realise its me replying and not Fox on our couples profile.

I'd get sussed in seconds on the phone though!

When I was single I was paranoid about letting people into my place, in case they came back and robbed the place or the meet went bad and I got harrassed by them.

You never know she might have thought you were an Axe weilding maniac

But surely, that wouldn't make you leave the site. You'd just say, Oh, such and such has just called. I can't meet. Or something like that?
