Never polish a wooden floor

Ive just nearly done the splits and buggered up me knee again

I had spilt some coffee and while using leather wipes on the sofa, decided i was to lazy to go get a cloth so used the leather wipe....

wrong !!!

It dried and turned into a death trap...

Im sure i would have gotton full marks,in a torville and dean way

I did it once.the dog couldn't stand up,too make it worse when she skidded her claws came out making her situ ten times worse.our daughter went flying.vowed never to do it again

my husband once thought it was a good idea to use a silicon dashboard spray on the wooden floors to bring the shine back well it sure brought the shine back but nobody could stand up in the room xxxxxx

I did the splits on mine, didn't even know I could do them! That will teach me to walk on a polished floor in my socks!

We used to have the parque flooring in my mum house, it was funny as every few years my dad would polish the floor. It was great my sister and I slide down the hall to the botton of the stairs it was great, sadly the poor dog never did get any purchase on tbe floor and usually went flying down the hall and into the front door then come skidding up the stair after us.

I've done the same before in our last house. Was walking around like Bambi despite multiple floor mops till it eventually rubbed off!

Also never mix alcohol, shoes or boots with no grip and wooden floor as this can also lead to lazy splits(as I call them, there are splits only legs not straight) when bending down to lift alcohol off floor
