Deliberating whether to wrap-up warm and take a stroll along the sea-front for a bag of chip and a chinwag with any other reprobates whose day is devoid of any real purpose....

Or.....

Finish my laundry and pack a bag ready for a trip North of the border,,,

I'm supposed to be working but am suffering a lack of focus.

I might pop over to Roker and steal Soxy's chips.

Day off today. And having managed about 5 hours sleep all weekend, I've enjoyed a much needed lie-in. Currently tidying the flat, landlady is popping round in a bit and then it's off to the gym.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I'm supposed to be putting another sodding coat of paint on the bathroom walls.

I am procrastinating.

I want chips.

It depends where you are sourcing your chips. I'm not keen on that little place next to the pier, they are not proper chip shop chips.

Yeah in that area, I prefer the one at the very top of Fulwell Road and Roker Avenue or Crosiers just off the Newcastle Road but they'd be cold by the time I got to the beach…….

I bet you thought I was going to say Queens café at Seaburn or Notarianni's...

I've not sampled either, but it's quite a hike as you say from the beach. Nothing as sad as a cold chip.

LOL yes Queen's Café I think would be much more appropriate. They have proper chippy chip chips there.

All this chip chatter has got me on a chip tip yo!

London

Took a day off for some me time.

Daughter three just returned home: seminar cancelled. Daughter two pulled up shortly after. INSET day finished early as they were given their redundancy letters out of the blue. As she's been there less than a year she is definitely going in May.

So...bang goes my peaceful day!

The one at the Top of Fulwell Road gives huge portions, but Crosiers is one of the last of the real chippy's and only opens a few days a week and people actaully queue for it opening,,,,,
