A great start to the week for me - one of the cats has had an accident so I've got to get up and give her a bath!

Why does stuff like this always seem to happen on Mondays?

Thankfully my cats are all as clean as they're going to be. However I've got the arduous task of cleaning their litter trays this morning. Not something I especially enjoy.

Mondays were invented for problems. Look on the bright side, and things will get better

She actually had a shower - it's easier to pin her down with one hand and wield the showerhead with the other and the force of the jets dislodged any errrrmmm bits

so it made it less yukky.

But I doubt she'll talk to me for some time.

Non ideal. I have a seriously upset stomach for no apparent reason.

And I have shitloads to do before my mum arrives tomorrow.

One of my cats fell off a windowsill this morning and landed on the single panel radiator. He seems unhurt but he's more than a little miffed.

I'm a very bad cat owner - I laugh myself silly when they do that!

It's unusual for him, he's usually a graceful wisp of fluff, which is impressive given his size. He was so confused and upset I couldn't laugh.

It's the other one who is a small fluffy elephant with no grace or elegance whatsoever. She's forever falling off things and misjudging jumps.

Mine has started great, crawled out of bed at 10am which is an extra 4 and a half hours longer in bed than most Monday mornings, and now the aroma of freshly grilled bacon is wafting through the house
