No as my pay rise is related to my sickness and other factors!

I am actually poorly at the moment

( chest and throat infection ) but will still have to go into work!

Why not book a shift off?

But it pays the bills and puts money into my bank each month!

Just book a day off

South Coast

I always feel terribly guilty if I'm off with genuine sickness. Can't imagine how I'd feel if I wasn't ill

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've always known when staff have pulled a sickie. Little things give it away. Sometimes bigger things like mentioning something that doesn't add up. Suspecting and proving are two different things but I have always watched those I don't trust to have told the truth just a little closer than other staff.

I've worked from home and jiggled my hours to get some fun in but no not pulled a sicky. We get disciplinary action for sickness and after a stint in hospital I'm close to the wire hence I'm still hobbling in one legged

No as the company doesn't pay sick pay, plus I would lose too much pay as well.

No, as you never know what the future holds. What if you genuinely become ill and they think you're faking?

The risk of losing the trust of your boss isn't worth it in my view.
