just wondered if there are many if any people still using it these days? was a great way of meeting new people and making friends in the 70's - 80's...

lol they were great we used to have a sharpes 3 piece so when the police came we could detach it so we could not get prosecuted lol, flamin loved it and spent hours on it, even had a home base set up in the attic with a DV29 ariel and a biscuit tin lol

Those were the days.

Lol, loved it when I was a kid.

I was a bit of a "gator station","square wheeled" in my friends dad's car, hoping for an "eyeball eyeball". Ah, happy days.

Had a Tri-Band Lafayette 360 Homebase... proverbial biscuit tin in the attic sitting on the cross section of two 5mtre strips of tin foil to increase my range. Handle was General Saint. 10-4.

Me and shaz was both on the cb about 8 years ago (just before we took up swinging)

I used to have a midland and a york, We lived on top of a hill, a 3 floored house and a s837 (think it was) on a huge pole on the roof oh and a litle burner hehe

They was fun days
