Are there things that most people around you think are true but aren't ?

What is the biggest misconception about you?

Mine is that I am always happy and jokey and nothing gets me down, in actual fact I have had some pretty dark days, but I choose not to burden some friends, and most work mates with it

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The commonest misconception is that I'm short. I mean, what has actual height got to do with short or tall?

I don't know what people think about me that is wrong. I subscribe to a view that we are at least part how others see us.

Many years ago I bought an investment property in what might be described as a upwardly "residential" area ( The reason being it was in a very dilapidated state and I hoped to turn a profit from it once renovated )

The garden was hugely overgrown so I decided my first task should be tiding things up...... while doing so, the lady of the house next door interrupted me with the word "Gardener" as she handed me an envelope which she said I should give to the new owners as it was an invitation to one of her social gathering...

I replied by asking, “was it a bring a bottle party” and would a bottle of cider be ok?

The lady curtly replied the invitation only extended to the new owners of the house and that would I make sure none of the hedge trimming I'd created strayed over her side of the fence,,,,

To be honest they ended-up being absolutely superb neighbours and I still pop round to see them every now and again even though I've long since moved from that area.

A lot of people would probably say a flaw of mine is that I'm conceited.

I disagree though, I think I'm perfect.

"A lot of people would probably say a flaw of mine is that I'm conceited.

There is a flaw there... if you THINK you are perfect then you cannot be perfect for thinking is not the same as knowing. Perfection requires total confidence , therefore, you would have to KNOW you are perfect!

So...

...

Do you?;-)

Knowing is a thought but thinking is not as sure in terms of probability as knowing.

Therefore thinking you are perfect is not as high in the probablity scale as knowing which means the person cannot be perfect for they are not 100% sure regarding the perfection
