I'm watching Adele at the albert hall on youtube,how can a Lady with a 60's hairstyle wearing what i would describe as a cocktail dress invoke such carnal and perverted thoughts this time of the morning.

I think you can fall in love with a voice, Janis joplin a case in point..Instant hard on material.

But Adele i think its a mixture of the voice and attitude, in your face this is me one of the Lads

I really like her attitude. Unlike all of the 'five minute wonder' girl & boy bands, she knows that she has the music industry at her feet & they want to make money out of her 'now' - so she just takes a year's sabbatical here & there - lolz!!

Was thinking about her the other day, yes she has a good voice but I think Annie Lennox, Sharleen Spitteri, Eva Cassidy and a few more are better imo

Adele is unique - and a great voice to boot. Shame it took a few years from her first single to gain the recognition she deserves.

She reminds me of a cabaret singer at best- she annoys me and her music is bloody horrible- nails on a blackboard sounds better. Not the consensus of opinion I know, but tis mine....one of the very few artists(loose term) that I do not possess any tracks of.

You are right there are a load of great singers out there, most never making it. Some like Adele get a lucky break and everyone suddenly knows them.

Dont get me wrong Adele does have a great voice but its boring and just sounds the same all the time, I personally think there are far better vocalists out there they just dont get the breaks or choose not to go mainstream and become tainted by mass manufactured dogshit of today
