Was thinking it was the old fake profile thing going on. Some of which I suspected before. Thing is, if you're not available to 'play' just don't come on here, hiding a profile seems a bit pointless really.

Fakers usually delete as oppose to hide but I come on for chat and forums when I'm not meeting, hiding it just deters new messages I suppose but understand your point

People are less likely to message a hidden profile but they still could if they wanted to. If someone is going to message you, hiding your profile won't stop them. Or does it? I don't know. If not, waste of time.

It doesn't stop people as such but usually if hidden I'd only get messages off friends I chat to regular which I don't mind, stops the new wanna fuck now type messages

They are and to be honest I reply to 95% of my mail sometimes I get the arse and don't want to especially if I've said a polite no thanks sorry and then get a why though? Then because I'm a hormonal crazy bitch I block them then when they create a new profile to give me shit on I get even more arsey and hide my profile for a bit, doesn't happen often majority on here are a great bunch but every now and then you get a crazy ass bastard that won't fuck off, so I just block them hide for a bit then come back refreshed and less moody

I was joking about the hormones. I just love when women blame things on hormones. I actually make a conscious effort to use that as an excuse just so people realise men have hormones too. Oh I'm late for for, yeah I'm hormonal. Works a treat.

Not pointless at all. Thing is that if one decides they need to take a break, deleting the profile means that they lose everything and would have to start from scratch when they came back. Lots take a break just to chill or something is going on that they don't want to leave so just hide profile. Service people get posted abroad so therefore may hide their profile until they come home as meeting whilst they are away just isn't an option

I ALWAYS push in at a buffet cos I like vol au vents but I bypass the minging crab sticks. And uf u are passing chocolates or biscuits round u always take the best one. Someone will have to have second best

How more likely are you going to message someone who you can actually see and read about than someone you can't?

I wouldn't....I have messages sat in my inbox right now from hidden profiles that I ain't even replied to.
