Some days

Some days I just want to stamp my feet, scream, throw myself on the floor and cry like a 2 year old.

Is it acceptable if nobody sees me?

Seriously though, what do you do to get rid of built up stress/frustration? or are you one of those lucky people who never get down/stressed?

The land of grey peas and bacon

You have to think of the positives we all get the blues and stress...I'm in a highly stressful and emotionally draining job but will not allow to get stressed out my sanity and health comes first...

I feel much the same sometimes.

I exercise or take a bath and try to unwind or do something to distract myself. Sometimes I just give up and go to bed and sleep through the strop.

Or I find something to punch and/or kick.

Sometimes I do all of those.

Oh I also bite my nails and eat junk but I'm working on removing those from the list.

Prolonged, passionate, kinky sex helps but if I rely on that for stress relief I'm in trouble.

Men are getting on my tits at the moment so I'll pick my own toys up

I'd put my ipod on and go for a walk but it isn't a good idea round here, might text my friend see if he fancies picking me up for a late night dog walk if he isn't working.

the secret is to let people see this, so they understand the frustration, by keeping it in, and hiding it, you are not being fair or honest, How would someone know your really pissed off or mad unless you do display emotions.

Its having a stiff upper lip and bottling feelings up that causes soo many problems.

I find music and cooking meditative and calming. They put a smile on my face. I'll sometimes rant on Youtube. I also have some very good friends I can talk to, which makes me one very lucky guy. Belt a song out, that literally gets the heavy feeling off your heart.

I saw a thing on the BBC website about a "breaking club" where one can smash things up in a controlled environment. I could do with half an hour in there. Trouble is, it's in Argentina...

Titz Towers, North Notts

I'm immune to stress. However, almost everyone I come into contact with seems stressed. It's not always apparent when I first see them, but within 2 minutes, it becomes apparent that they are feeling stressed

A child has a tantrum and they soon expel their anger/frustration. It is actually a very natural and therapeutic thing to do but you do need to do it in a safe environment.

I was give some meditation exercises to do, included were roaring exercises designed to release pent up frustrations. I once did them in my car and burst out laughing because it sounded hilarious. I really must do them again when I feel the road rage creeping in .

Other stress busters:

Shower (running water is therapeutic).

Music.

Exercise.

Pamper time and recognise you deserve it.

Laughter.
