"I'm gonna eat something "

Are you sure? That's a radical approach.

I have an entire day to myself and as much as I love my family am looking forward to eating lunch alone, with a book, the radio and some very hot, dark coffee.

I don't like veal so it won't be on the menu, I might make some walnut rolls and have them with butter and cheese.

Rose veal is acceptable, but not the white milk-fed stuff.

Not sure what I'm doing for lunch, I still haven't decided if I'm going to have toast or stollen for brekkie!

I have the choice of porridge, biscuits (biscuit biscuits, not bread rolls for any lurking Americans) or bbq pork rib sandwich.

Bizarrely I am erring towards the bbq pork

American biscuits are more like a savoury scone.

Ooooohhhh, there's a thought! Cheese scones, may have to do some baking....
