For me it has to be the last 2 natwest adverts where they make out they are there for impartial advice. What a load of crap. Need a bucket to be sick in every time i see one of their adverts. And the Halifax advert is so crap, frankly i believe they are still making such amateurish adverts.

At least we can record everything and fly past the adverts at x30 speed

most annoying is the tune/song in the 118 247 telephone add.

The best add is the pedigree chum one with the very muddy Golden Retreiver jumping on the clean white bed... love it! or the Weetabix one where the jockey falls off the horse

they offer to buy your old phone for cash , when you go to the web site and enter the make of your phone ( you paid 150 quid for 6 months back ) they offer you 15 pence !

There are indeed a lot of adverts that are irritating - but, an advert that irritates you is also one that manages to stick its message in your brain. So, although everybody may be annoyed by gocompare, and we_buy_anycar, etc, the fact is we now all know the tunes, the product, the website addresses involved, etc. Unfortunately the irritating adverts are the ones that work the best for the advertiser !

and, has anbody noticed how there is now a complete set of ads either telling us how we should live our lives, or threatening us ? Every evening we are told to be careful about diet, to not smoke, to keep an eye on drinking (especially women for some reason), that we shouldn't drive fast, followed by the stupid contraception advert of animated blobs having naff conversations.

Following that, we are then told the DVLA has a big black computer that knows everything (in which case, why advertise, just go nick the untaxed drivers). And how we can be fined for watching tv without a licence. And how 50,000 benefits cheats have been caught. And how our cars can be crushed.
