I work nights, and have had a few nights off, the body clock is still in night mode.

I get the change in shift pattens I have done them in the past and they don't make it easy but I am betting when you do get your head down you sleep. I was thinking of the people who really lay there for hours not being able to drift off.

I used to enjoy long shifts and nights when younger but I only did it for a few years I don't think I could cope with little or no sleep these days.

Tried most of them but I'm on pretty heavy painkillers supposed to make you drowsy ironically I've not slept longer than 2 hours in nearly a year it sucks
