face or body?

Since there are lots of new members to the forums (welcome by the way) just wondering what people saw as more important for a person to have before they found them attractive

Ideally it would be both, but is it more importance in regards to overall attractiveness if a person has a stunning body or a gorgeous face?

not necessarily talking about swinging here.

Both for me. But gorgeous and stunning are down to individual perception.

Ideally some of both,even if not to the max, I am a sucker for a good looking guy more than many - but the connection to the bit between the ears can entirely alter our perception, or our response to it.

If I am into someone I can look at eg their face and say to myself this is not a handsome face but I am so attracted by it I can hardly breathe because I want the man inside so much.

Good point, at work we call that 'pink cardigan syndrome' where you can warm to a friendly looking face and it makes the rest forgiving.

Face is the first thing I notice and would be attracted to. But if someone had a very attractive face but I didn't like their body then I wouldn't be meeting them.

This. A person some would consider not conventionally good looking could extremely attractive because our who they are xx

Both are important to me, but you can't overlook the importance of a lovely face. A great figure can get me excited, but its usually a womans face that makes me truly want to have sex with her, I love full, soft lips and striking eyes, but I'd say my favourite part of a womans face is her jawline/cheekbones, especially when they have a slight shine to them.

Body type isn't that important to me, I prefer well built men but have found smaller men attractive based on other features.

Sticking to the OP's options and not bringing personality into it (hint hint) for me a very attractive face coupled with a terrible figure would not take precedence over an ugly face with a hot body.

Reason being is that although good looking I'd be paying attention to whole and an attractive face is not going to make up for being confronted with an abundance of varicose veins, spotty skin, bingo wings and excessive cellulite.

However, a face like it's been dragged through the ugly forest can be overlooked if the body is that of a goddess.
