Bloody hell, collected slightly pissed off ant, took him ages to get all his running shoes on!

on your marks get set go.

He was off like a shot, just made it over my hip, when a sodding ant eater dashed out of his hiding place behind the sofa and eat him

So my answer is it took him 22 seconds to get almost halfway so, if he had not been eaten about 44 seconds.
