I learnt to budget cook and become independent and enjoy my own company and then get a sex life....however it taught me a lesson to not let the wrong type in my life and take the piss...

17 into a lovely 3 bed flat with my future husband then by the time I was 18 1/2 we'd bought a house...left husband when i was 32, stayed with my mate for a coupla weeks while i sorted a rental - if I'd had to move back in with my Mam I reckon I'd still be married now! . Ex kept the old house, I took redundancy from work and used some of it to buy the house I'm still in now 13 and a bit years years down the line

17... Got my own flat.. but couldnt even buy it in my own name cause I was under 18 lol..

Went back to the parents for about 3 weeks when I was 26 and buying my new place got delayed..

No intention of ever moving back now

17 - fell pregnant and my choices were made very clear! Moved out, used savings while I finished college and then onto uni for the first time. Never looked back and have a wonderful son who reminds me every day I made the right decisions
